TADA!!! What joy! I can collage and doodle, add song lyrics, fortune cookie fortunes, clippings and more! There is room to write about past moments and look toward the future. I finally located Amber Lotus, and in turn, this Katie Daisy calendar. I hunted high and low on the Internet, to find color and joy and quotes. I appreciated the gift and the idea to organize- but needed more. I myself, am an artist! I love color, collage, doodling, making my mark. It was ‘nice,’ but it was dated pages and tabs on lined solid paper inside a hard cover: serviceable, but no personality. It seems thinner and lighter and that is a very worrisome change in the features of the appointment book. My one disappointment in this year's book is the poor quality of the paper. This is my very efficient way of storing information forever. At the end of the year, I put the completed book next to the ones from last year, and the year before, so I have all the phone numbers, directions, notes on conversations that I have crammed into my appointment book, for years to come. I keep sufficient details in my appointment records so that, for example, I remember to ask my doctor important questions. I keep all sorts of stuff in the pocket: postage stamps, receipts, address labels (mine), scribblings, business cards, photos, and even drawings that help me remember who ran into my car. I also buy a second to give to my daughter. This is my 4th or 5th year of buying an Amber Lotus appointment calendar for my records.
